Hope Cures !

Miss Wang was a typical Chinese housewife who used to read a lot and listen to the radio. It was in a far away village of North-eastern Liaoning Province that this lady lived with her one kid and a hard working husband. When the Sun winked thru their crystal clear windows, Mr. Wang would get up getting ready for another back breaking day on his farm. The kid went to school, was obviously studying English and to make a long one, short, I suppose you know how their financial clock ticked.
A beautiful picture, a sunny blue sky day with a slight breeze on a vast corn farm land comes in to view. Some unknown kinds of birds are decorating the sky and a perspiring Mr. Wang is happily singing the Chinese traditional song of the North-East: I am the North-Easterner! ...
Crack! and you are Alice the modern, in this wonderland of black deaths and white coffin covers. The beautiful Mr.Wang picture is not there anymore. It is broken! A new slide fills the place: A big dark corridor of the city's no.1 hospital maybe famous for its damp rooms and cold doctors. A young Mr. Wang is upset though he is not exactly sure how can he change the circumstances. A red-eyed, pale Mrs. Wang is using her radio-listening-acquired knowledge to plead the doctors to spare her husband a chance. Mr. Wang has some kind of a nervous-muscular tumor mix up! I do not know what the exact name is but from the mysterious examination room came the news that Mr. Wang's right kidney pipe has developed additional tumor pipes that have mixed themselves up with the nerves!
Nah buddy, do not scare me, it would not be so bad! but it was! and the head physician said he could not help. His words echoed in Mrs. Wang's white cold ears:
"I am sorry Madam, if we perform surgey now, chances are 0%. We can do nothing about it. The pipes are very complex and mixed up. While he is alive, I hope you can spend more time with him."
How many tears could be shed down on a green skirt. Almost as if they were magic droplets! coming and sliding like naughty children playing a silly joke! Mrs Wang. did not have any power left. Her tears were dry now. She did not want to go home like this, no, not with her husband on the death's doorstep. She stayed in the hospital and went over to her husband. Kissed his forehead and began massaging the affected area. The sun was navigating a care-less but watchful sky from one end to the other. A night passed by but no single thing had changed. Mrs Wang was massaging an unconscious husband's right side without being aware of the surroundings. She felt like she was drugged. Her hand was moving without any impulse. As if it was directed by a Universal Hand.
Two days passed and doctors grew weary of this touch story! Mrs. Wang was quickly ordered to take her husband out. She thought, that is it. Good bye beautiful life!
At home, the young kid thought he was dreaming! He saw his mother laugh! and louldy. He quickly rushed to see if his mother had lost mental stability. " My baby, go see your father on the farm! He is enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful scenery!".. the Kid was astonished. He thought it was unreal! He went out and was met by his father hugging him high and calling his name many times! They both sat on the bench outside the house and decided to watch the orange colored sunset. They had fonud their beautiful day again!
( note: Based on a real story, this actually happened in the city where I worked and according to second examination of the patient, doctors were astounded to find out that MAYBE due to the massage and pressure from this wonderful woman the pipes were released and were clear enough to be cut!, soon they performed an operation and Mr. Wang survived the impossible).
